Industry Research & Best Practice
Drive Blue is committed to informed, practical and continually improving service delivery. We value industry research, best practice initiatives and evidence-informed approaches that strengthen outcomes for individuals, organisations and communities.
If you are aware of a publicly available research paper, report or journal relevant to road safety, driver behaviour or licensing in Australia that should be included here, contact Drive Blue and we will review it for inclusion.
Why it matters
Drive Blue is committed to practical, evidence-informed service delivery. Alongside hands-on driver training, road safety education and behaviour change programs, we value industry research, best practice initiatives and evidence-informed approaches that strengthen outcomes.
Drive Blue's programs and instructional approaches are grounded in current research on driver behaviour, road safety outcomes and effective training methodologies.
We regularly review our delivery in light of new evidence, observed outcomes and participant feedback — refining how we teach, design programs and support licensing access.
Understanding NT-specific conditions — road environment, community contexts, licensing barriers and cultural diversity — is essential to applying research effectively in this region.
Drive Blue engages with road safety practitioners, researchers and sector organisations to contribute to shared learning and stay current with evolving evidence and best practice.
We apply research findings to explore improved delivery models, particularly for remote communities and participants with complex needs, where standard approaches may not be sufficient.
Drive Blue welcomes research partnerships, program evaluation opportunities and collaborative development work that aligns with our mission to improve driver safety and licensing access across the NT.
